Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamil, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., D.Sc., FRSC (London), is an internationally renowned expert in pharmacognosy, herbal medicine, and Traditional, Complementary, and Alternative Medicine (TCAM). He has held senior academic and research positions in India and the UAE, including at Hamdard University, the UAE Ministry of Health, and the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi. He currently serves as Director General of the Lotus Holistic Healthcare Institute, Abu Dhabi. A former WHO Focal Point and Expert (2007–2022), Professor Kamil has received numerous prestigious awards for his contributions to herbal medicine and TCAM research. He has supervised over 30 Ph.D. and M.Phil. scholars, mentored numerous postgraduate researchers, and authored more than 800 scientific publications, earning over 8,000 citations
